Tiki Squids

We took a family trip to the island of Kauai, HI. I’d been once before and this time as I got a second look I was struck by the linework and boldness of the tiki art. I studied the patterns and lines and decided to express it through the form of the squid.

Make100 on Kickstarter

I ran my first Kickstarter in January of 2020. A simple sticker set, but my goal was to make 100 packs. The reference for the artwork is all fan art of nostalgia from my childhood, specifically cartoon and video game characters that I loved growing up, reimagined as squids.
